We are looking for our for a Sales Manager for our Kenyan office:

• Analyze tender and construction drawings
• Organize daily work schedule to make appointments to meet new and existing customers
• Searching for new clients who could benefit from your products in a designated region
• Travelling to visit potential clients
• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements
• Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
• Calculating client quotations
• Negotiating tender and contract terms
• Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
• Administering client accounts
• Analyzing costs and sales
• Preparing reports for head office
• Meeting regular sales targets
• Recording and maintaining client contact data
• Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
• Recording order and sending to the sales office
• Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by telephone and email
• Participating in marketing initiatives by developing tools as presentations
• Provide customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing
reports
• Recommends changes in products, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive
developments
Candidate profile
• 5-10 year of experience from construction industry
• Strong networker, empathetic, team player
• Preferred Technical University degree (mechanical or civil engineering)
• Good knowledge of Kishwaili and Gujarati is an advantage
• Good knowledge of food and beverage manufacturing plants drainage requirements is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Sewage Treatment Plant design, sizing and operation is an advantage
• Good knowledge of plumbing and building drainage is an advantage
• Respectable, humble and intelligent individual with strong listening skills
• Adapt communication (both spoken and written) to different levels of the organization (from
top
• management to technicians) as well as to different nationalities
 Result driven with customer-oriented approach
 Good knowledge computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
 Advanced English, another language is an advantage
